I am Evan "Mannequin" Lyons. My journey into the world of fashion has been unconventional, but I believe that’s often the norm in this industry—fashion has a way of choosing you rather than the other way around. I inherited my love for fashion from my mother, who was the original "mannequin model" in our family. Her 1970s headshot, which I proudly use as the logo for my brand, serves as a constant reminder of my roots and inspiration. I began my career styling artists at Def Jam and Mass Appeal records, which opened numerous doors for me in the fashion industry. I have also had the privilege of working in luxury retail with brands such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Fendi, and my beloved Barneys New York. Over the years, I've been fortunate enough to style several notable individuals, including: - Billy Porter (Actor) - CaSandra Diggs (CFDA President) - Flo Ngala (Photographer, 2023 Met Gala) - Sharon Bond (Emmy Laureate) - TraceyLynn Counts (Emmy Laureate) - Alice Rowland Musukwa (Miss Universe Zambia) - Jojo Zarur (Love & HipHop) My work has been featured in prestigious publications such as The New York Times, Page Six, Vogue, Ebony, Nylon, HuffPost, People, Paper, The Guardian, Stylist, and Harper's Bazaar.
